The innovative OccluShaper (370) diamond has a medium grit and offers a minimally invasive approach to precise preparations of occlusal surfaces.

Ceramic preparations require perfectly round contours. To achieve the ideal preparation, Komet developed OccluShaper diamonds, the first instrument to combine both concave and convex shapes.

To ensure the abrasive instruments match the occlusal surfaces of each tooth, OccluShapers are available in 2 sizes:

370.FG.035 for molars
370.FG.030 for premolars

Finishers of matching shapes are available:

8370.FG.035 for molars
8370.FG.030 for premolars

For occlusal contouring, prepare the occlusal surface with an OccluShaper of suitable size in a mesio-distal direction along the central fissure. Repeat with a fnisher of the same size and congruent shape.

The OccluShaper diamonds are also available in a comprehensive Occlusal Onlay Kit (LD2246).
