The Extra Fine (green) is used in the DownPack handpiece in the EndoPilot.

The DownPack handpiece heating tips come in four additional sizes:

The thin heating tip allows for easy access to the cavity and precise separation of the gutta-percha, either directly at the canal entrance or further apically. The DownPack handpiece is inserted cold and activated only when it contacts the gutta-percha within the tooth using a foot switch. This activates the heating tip, which heats up in a matter of seconds. Upon use, the heating tip cools down just as quickly. Rapid heating, minimal tissue contact, and rapid cooling contribute to a high level of patient safety and prevent the filling from loosening.
